Work with Achievement Bute

Achievement Bute is seeking an experienced Financial Administrator to provide financial record-keeping and administrative support to ensure the smooth running of Achievement Bute SCIO.

Part Time Approx. 16 hours per week

Flexible Hybrid Working

Salary £25,000 (FTE pro rata)

We need someone to join our small team who has excellent interpersonal, literacy, finance, and IT skills; is familiar with the Microsoft Office Suite and has the ability to work quickly and accurately using advanced financial functions in Excel spreadsheets. The ideal candidate will have bookkeeping experience and/or qualifications and will be competent to prepare and maintain accurate financial accounts and to deal with all matters pertaining to payroll in a small organisation.

The Board of Trustees of Achievement Bute is a group of local people who are committed to these aims and who want Achievement Bute to thrive for the benefit of the children of Bute.

We have six board meetings per year, held during school term-time and the Board plays a key role in the growth of the charity, setting the overall direction and providing scrutiny to our processes and decisions.
