Mini Commonwealth Games
On Friday 31st July 2026 parents are invited to join the kids to take part in a special Commonwealth Games themed event and to see the kids fabulous dens.
What Children Will Experience:
🏗️ Den Building
Children use natural materials to create their own woodland shelters, developing creativity and construction skills along the way.
🔍 Nature Exploration
Treasure hunts and trail following activities help develop problem-solving skills and observation abilities.
🌿 Sensory Learning
Hands-on experiences with different textures, sounds, and natural materials enhance sensory development.
🤝 Social Skills
Working together on projects and group activities helps children build friendships and teamwork abilities.
💪 Physical Activity
Climbing, balancing, and navigating natural terrain improves motor skills and builds confidence.
🌍 Environmental Awareness
Children develop an understanding and appreciation of the natural world around them.
