Achievement Bute is Recruiting!

Children’s Activity Coordinator (and Play Worker)
Minimum 20 hours per week annualised.

Achievement Bute is looking to recruit a motivated and enthusiastic person to join our team to assist with the planning and delivery of fun activities to meet the support needs of our children, young people, and their families.

While direct support of children (1-1, in groups and in activities in the community) is a significant part of this role we are looking for someone who can also take on responsibility for the coordination of our Volunteers programme, planning and leading a range of arts activities.

Professional experience in working with children and young people (5-18) is highly desirable, qualifications preferable, proven experience necessary. Background in arts or design would be beneficial but not essential.

Our working hours change through the year to match children’s availability. During the school term hours are mainly after school and at weekends. During the school holidays hours are mainly during the day.

Hourly rate: £12.09 in excess of the Scottish Living Wage.  £13.29 upon completion on a probationary period.
20 hours per week annualised. We are quieter during term time and busier during school holidays, however the annualised contract provides consistent monthly income based on the hours worked through the whole year.

Closing date: Application Forms returned to peter.atkins@achievementbute.org.uk by Wednesday 10th of January 2024.

Interview date: Friday 19th of January 2024.
