On the Isle of Bute, children and young people with additional support needs can face real barriers to joining in. Island life means fewer options, longer journeys and limited access to specialist support. We exist to change that.

Achievement Bute delivers inclusive activity programmes, care at home and community support that put each child at the centre. We start with what they love, what they’re good at and what they dream of doing, and we build from there. The result is more confidence, new friendships, new skills and families who know they’re not on their own.

Every donation, large or small, goes directly toward helping children and young people on Bute to:

  • Take part in activities and experiences that are fully inclusive

  • Build confidence, independence and friendships

  • Get the right support, from people who know them and believe in them

  • Be recognised for what they can do, not what they can’t

Your gift makes a real difference:

  • £10 could pay for child a session of inclusive activities for a child

  • £25 could provide child with a weekly place at one of inclusive clubs

  • £100 could fund a special trip for a child or children who would other wise miss out.

Achievement Bute relies on grants and donations to fund our activities. Donations are an important source of funding to us as they allow us to provide more than grants would normally allow, such as free snacks for children, more equipment, and to enhance events or run them for longer. We greatly appreciate any support you can provide.
